Breathing through Confusion

I've been trying hard not to let my mind spin off into worst case scenarios with respect to my medical/dental issues.   I haven't been succeeding all that well either.  But today I meditated -- plain vanilla, short, no great breakthroughs.  Even so, it was a great reminder that I have a resource in all this confusion.  I can breathe.

Oh gosh, I can relate.  I have been in the midst of a whirlwind of sadness and pain since we started this and at times trying to meditate and blog has seemed like too much.  But I think when I look back I'll realize the timing was perfect. 

I could try to give you advice on putting it out of your mind, but I know how ridiculous and irritating that is.

Thank you, Katie.  Of course I would love advice on putting it out of my mind,  I keep feeling, wait, I'm not ready yet.  I need more practice before I get thrown into the major leagues.
