These past two days of meditation practices (walking meditation and the breathing meditation) were filled with a dullness that was uncharacteristic. Usually, if my mind is moving in many directions, and I am able to bring my attention back to my breath then I feel as though I am progressing in my practice.
On the other hand, when the general nature of my thoughts are boring, they seem to not be "sharp" enough to bring upon any emotions (usually negative). Seemingly, if there are triggers of any emotional response in my thoughts, then I am able to bring awareness to the moment -- my breath. However, when my thoughts are dull, the thoughts seem to continue.
