Rush of breath

In a rush today, I return again and again to the rush in and out of my breath. I feel myself hurry, stub a toe, slam into a wall, drop a thing, pick it up, drop it again. Yell at my husband. Want to slam a door, but catch myself. The door has done me no harm. My husband hasn't either. Slow down. Breathe. Just breathe.
