Metta meditation is my new mantra. My sanctuary.
Last week I drove from Los Angeles to Yuma, Arizona, a 6 hour drive, chanting quietly to myself May I be safe, May I be happy, May I live with ease.
When I realized before drifting off to sleep that I hadn’t found time to formally sit, I sent myself to slumberland chanting May I be safe, May I be happy, May I live with ease.
When I returned to a whirl wind assignment that gave me a splitting headache, tumbling stomach, and pushed all my emotional buttons, I sought comfort in metta.
So while I haven’t been posting, I am still breathing. And especially in difficult moments remembering to have compassion for myself and others.
May we all be safe, happy and live with ease.
