Sacred Circles

In February 2005, Sharon served as a keynote speaker at Washington National Cathedral’s Sacred Circles Conference. A celebration of women’s spirituality, Sacred Circles encouraged greater commitment to compassion for personal wellbeing and for those in the wider world. The conference fostered a deeply felt sense of women’s spiritual community, woven by leaders in voice, dance, and religious ritual from diverse faith traditions. More than forty women leaders offered workshops designed to engage both reflective and active compassion in daily life.
