Beginner’s mind

Opening the first email for this month was like opening a Christmas present! I am so excited to start!

I have made a commitment to set aside prior meditation experience to listen with fresh ears, and practice with an open heart. Cultivating beginner’s mind is a helpful way to stay in the present. To support my practice, I’ve chosen a new time of day to practice and am facing in a new direction.

What immediately stands out: “just one breath”. So simple, so possible. One breath, and then the next, and the next, like beads on a string.
