In the meditations this week, Sharon is helping us to more intentionally shift awareness away from our thoughts and on to our actions. This practice grounds us more completely in a living reality instead of a conceptual one.
As we begin to develop this skill, we find we are more able to respond from a place of purposeful integrity instead of react from a place of limited conditioning. We are able to stay more focused on our goals, we communicate with greater clarity, and we connect with others at a deeper level.
As we master this skill, we naturally experience a greater sense of fulfillment in all aspects of our lives. We end up coming away from activities energized instead of exhausted, and people around us feel seen, heard, and understood. In this way, we live more fully into our experience as humans and as leaders, even if all we are doing is drinking a cup of tea. 🙂
(My favorite is the Tibetan Raspberry at Uncommon Grounds. What’s you’re favorite tea?)
