Seem to be struggling with this already! Missed yeaterday’s Practice and so did two sittings today. Done a lot of the listening/sound mediations before and find it very grounding. Not such a fan of the mental note meditation.
My job involves working with vulnerable young people who often suffer from anxiety. I’m saving the transcripts from each lesson to adapt and use in sessions. I think passing on effective practices is so important.
Had a wonderful day today at my friends’ animal sanctuary. They’ve just opened a vegan cafe attached to the sanctuary and held a “Thank You Lunch” for all the regular volunteers. It was so nice to drop everything and live in a lovely moment with people who care so much about being compassionate. I left feeling so thankful and so blessed for that aspect of my life.
