In today’s hectic world it’s easy to find ourselves yearning for relaxation. But is that realistic? Our days may require a certain level of energy. We do know that managing this energy is important for our overall mental and physical health. So rather than seeking a complete lack of stimulation we can get relief by practicing balance. We can begin by paying attention to our body in meditation. When sitting we can try to stay aware of when we start to go limp and when we tighten up or become too wired. We can adjust our posture, our breath, and begin again.
