Day Four — Counting Meditation

Today I welcomed Beginner’s Mind as I settled into my morning meditation. In-1, In-2, In-3. One breath at a time. After some time my mind quieted. The mental noting/counting dropped away. The breath softened. My attention softened. Stillness filled the space.

The freeing power of Beginner’s Mind supported my whole-hearted acceptance of being like a new born to meditation. I am grateful. My meditation felt fresh and alive this morning.
