Thursday is generally my “big” meditation day. I meditate as usual in the morning, take a break or two at work, then in the late afternoon and evening, I’ve been walking mindfully a couple of miles (not traditional walking meditation for ten to fifteen steps and turning, but just walking), then sitting with the Aloha Sangha.
We were lucky to able to sit with and be led by Ven. Karma Lekshe Tsomo again this week. She’s a wonderful leader and dharma instructor. This week’s lesson was on Death, Karma, and Rebirth. She has a wonderful sense of humor about all of this and gave us an overview of a lot of different Buddhist and secular perspectives.
Hopefully, she’ll be with us again next week. Impermanence being what it is there’s no guarantee of course, but I suspect she’ll be back…me too.
