Washing dishes has always been therapeutic for me. I rarely dread it and just simply do it. During today’s meditation I tried to really engage with what I was doing, but my mind did wander a bit. These days I feel like I don’t have time to think, and doing a quiet contemplative activity like washing dishes is my time to think. But instead of actively thinking, I will bring more mindfulness to these daily activities to quiet my brain. I am already feeling the benefits of being less reactive to life situations and instead being more engaged with them by doing these meditations. Thanks, Sharon!
