Recently I have been crafting for my son’s first birthday party. I’ve made a cardboard boat, a high chair banner, a photo banner, and decorated wooden blocks. It has really brought me joy to not only use this creative side of my brain, but to be able to do it for my son.
For today’s meditation, I focused on the feeling of finishing the blocks. My mind drifted all over the place, and I even felt at the end of the session like I should hit the replay button and try again because my mind was so all over the place. But I think that is part of the point of meditation. Every day is a new experience. Some days meditation comes easily and other days it seems so far out of reach. When the challenge is over I think I will come back to this particular meditation and see what I experience I have then. Thanks, Sharon!
