This program takes place on Saturday, October 31 starting at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time and concluding at 11:30 a.m. with Sharon Salzberg.
In today’s fractured world, even when we have the willingness to look at suffering, we often feel overwhelmed, may end up frozen in our tracks, and feel that we can’t do anything. In this talk we will explore tools of meditation, not as a replacement for action, but as a way to reconnect to a sense of life that’s bigger than immediate circumstances. We will look at the journey from empathy to compassion, anger to courage, and grief to resilience in trying to make a difference. Coming right before the US Presidential election, we will especially explore stillness and engagement. Please note that this event is being held virtually due to the COVID pandemic restrictions.
