A gathering—us, of course—an intimate group of nearly 20,000 eager souls. Sitting, meditating, listening, reading, trying to sense the nowness of this moment. I’m still trying to take this in as I begin my third Challenge. Twenty-eight days. Four neat little weeks of surely, surely this time. Hello.
And a gathering of energy. In this milieu of the 10,000 distractions of our time we are now called to reclaim some the scattered energy we seem so eager to expend on this and that and this and that again. Sharon’s prologue: “We gather all of that attention and energy to become integrated, to have a center, to not be so fragmented, so torn apart.”
I can’t promise I won’t end the challenge any more integrated or less fragmented than I am today. But that is my intention. To meditate every day, to gather my attention and energy with your help as we gather here together.
