Increasing happiness can be easier than lessening negativeness

I forget over and over how well this works.

I was in a Low Mood yesterday. So I went to a movie after work and then dinner with the roommate and I was fine. Even if I don’t like a movie, it will lift my mood. Today it is tempting to find out where the Low Mood came from, but it will spin me to a dark place. For now, seeing that I can get back to feeling okay is enough.

A good reminder. Some things send me negative and to just let them be. Hands off, please.  Some things bring me joy and it does not have to make sense why.
