Today’s meditation brought to mind a prior meditation I found on the Ten Percent Happier app called ocean breathing. The idea is to allow your breath to be like the ocean waves coming in and out. It is a perfect example of finding the balance between tranquility and energy. You can even allow your body to gently rock back and forth, like Sharon’s forward and back suggestions, as you breath. I find the gentle motion helps me to find that place between calmness and alertness.
Everyday I learn a little more, I plant a few more seeds of tranquility, and my gratitude grows and flourishes. Thank you Sharon!
