It starts with your commitment to meditate every day in February 2018. By committing to sit, you join thousands of fellow participants from around the world who have also pledged to practice each day in February.
Starting Febraury 1st, you will receive a daily email lesson each morning from Sharon. Each lesson includes a short teaching and a guided meditation. Choose when it works best for you to practice each day, and for how long.
Each week in NYC there are free gatherings led by highly experienced meditation teachers at local meditation studios. Join in person, or tune-in virtually via livestream to ask questions about your practice each week.
Participants share their experience throughout the month by blogging on Sharon’s website. This forum offers an honest peak into what really happens when we practice every day from people just like you.
Week one introduces the core technique of concentration practice working with the breath. Learn Sharon’s masterful approach to the process of engaged awareness, and her secret weapon: the art of begining again.
Week two moves more deeply into body based meditation techniques, introducing walking meditation, body scan meditation and meditations that incorporate household tasks.
Week three focuses on the rich terrain of emotions and thoughts. This includes working with difficult emotions and also cultivating positive emotions for greater balance and resilience.
Week Four cultivates the art of mindful connection through the practice of Lovingkindness. Building resources for challenging times, working with your inner critic, and physical pain.
