I did the Sharon Salzberg meditation challenge a few years ago. It was nice – I was just starting to get into meditation. I had no idea how powerful it could be and I continue a meditation practice. It is definitely a practice because it is never perfect and ebbs and flows, much like my life.
Quiet eyes… Lost in craving and lost in dislike are two things I’m all too familiar with. They are definitely two things I’ve improved at over the past few years and I credit prayer and meditation for a lot of the improvement.
I didn’t get a chance to do this walking meditation yesterday … I had a very busy day morning to night and it was also raining most of the day. I had the opportunity to do this meditation today after my morning run. I absolutely love walking meditation and losing myself in the moment of the walk. Enjoying the movement and light cold breeze and mixed temperature of my body.
