#RealHappiness Day 27

Compassion.  Reframing behaviors & actions to pain and recognizing that others may be in pain and acting out.  Reframing bad/wrong into states of suffering gives me a different lens to view the world.  It reminds me that everyone has something – and that something can be driving the behavior that is aggravating me.

I don’t know if they got bad news, if they are ill, recently lost someone, the list goes on and on.  But if I remember that my anger can come from fear and that fear may have come from many places (getting bad medical news, etc) then I can be more compassionate to others.

Taking a moment, taking a breath, and remembering that everyone has something can help me increase the compassion I offer to others.
