In Absentia

I must apologize at the outset for being conspicuously absent on posting this time around. As I indicated in my previous post, we adopted two puppies and I sorely underestimated the amount of time one must give especially to the chore of house training. Have you ever had one of those days where you’re staring right at something to which you are supposed to be giving your undivided attention and you suddenly find that several minutes have passed and you have no recollection of what has transpired? That’s pretty much my existence at the moment. Watching puppies play and play and play and then suddenly space out just as one ‘assumes the position.’ I’ve committed myself to be mindful during this process – it’s going to be my contribution this time around. After all, since embracing these teachings over the last few years, I’ve come to appreciate so much more about my life.

 

Even the moments when I’m muttering under my breath cleaning up another puddle…
