#RealHappinessChallenge Day 1

Day 1 is here.  I was so looking forward to this day.  This is my 4th year doing the challenge and I needed it this year. I needed the calm, comfort of starting this practice and resetting my frame of mind.  Have you ever felt that way – like something right around the corner was going to help you re-set? Hearing @SharonSalzberg say “it’s just one breath” to “gently let go” and when the mind wanders “We can forgive ourselves for having wandered, and with great kindness to ourselves, we can begin again” reminded me that I didn’t have to wait – I could have started this particular practice sooner – remembering to focus on the breath.  I am glad it is February 1, I have set my intention to #bekind #committosit and #beginagain
