How was today’s meditation for you? Did you have something that competed for your awareness that you had to note? Did you have trouble identifying what it was? I had some ‘to do’s’ try to gain my awareness, I noted them as ‘lists’, it didn’t seem to be the right word – it didn’t fit. They came back again later – this time I named them ‘to do’s’ – this seemed to fit, I didn’t judge them, just named them/acknowledged them, and went back to the breath. They didn’t come back. I noticed that with a couple of distractions, when I noted them with something that ‘fit’ they seemed to not come back. Now, I’m not saying one caused the other… but just noticing what happened. How did this work for you?
