Wow – the end of week 3! I can’t believe we’re already here. In today’s lesson it was great to hear #SharonSalzberg’s recap discussing what has been accomplished this past week, and this past 3 weeks. This final meditation of week 3 focused on our expanded awareness as demonstrated by the initial focus on the breath, then the body, then what’s going on in our minds (thoughts, emotions). This subtle reminder that we need to be mindful of what is happening helps us to remember to observe as these pass through.
Initially I had a hard time with this meditation as it was preceded by the announcement that #SharonSalzberg has had a medical event. Then I realized that this meditation was a great way to observe my emotions related to this news.
