#RealHappinessChallenge – Day 4 – numbers

@SharonSalzberg talks about another concentration technique in today’s meditation – using numbers to help you focus, and bring awareness to the breath.  I mentioned yesterday that I found the In/Out helpful in quieting my mind, but this technique was stronger and more effective for me.  This was interesting, as I tried this technique last year during the challenge and didn’t find it as helpful.  I think this proves the point that sometimes trying different techniques will help, and not discard something that doesn’t help this time – because it could help the next time.
