The Bliss of Meditation

Meditation is calming, freeing.  Remaining mindful in and out of meditation gives me the clarity of mind and a calming abiding.  My favorite eating meditation is what I call the Chocolate Cake Meditation.  To taste creamy, rich dark chocolate in every bite is blissful.  Yum!  I enjoy meditation when I do yoga and especially when I cycle.  The meditative high I get is beyond words.  All of meditation; walking, lying, sitting, chopping vegetables, bathing my best friend, Zen, a Chihuahua, driving to the Sangha, all of it, is a wonderful experience.  It is lunch time and time to practice chopping, cooking, and eating meditation.  Namaste
