I was just talking to a friend about this exact same thing a moment ago on facebook then saw the link to this..spooky! It was a conversation coming from a post he put up saying ‘sometimes..I think that nobody cares about me & I could just disappear with nobody noticing’.

I feel like the last time I spend in my own head/thoughts the more compassion I have. I found recently that the more time I invest in my practice, the less division is in my mind. I feel less like people, things, life are happening to me. And more …
I’m not sure….filled with gratitude, there is more space to see what I was missing.

  • Yes compassion can be learned – it is such a skill to look at other people and situations through the lens of compassion.

The animation is a good teaching tool. I’ve noticed that a lot of times – when I”M feeling UP, there are a lot of positive interactions with strangers – but when I’m down, I interpret other’s expressions and reactions more negatively. But w/ I can remember times when I was feeling bad and a stranger’s comment brightened the day a bit – at least someone noticed I was there. And realize that with practice you hone your own skill at lifting someone else at least a little.

May all beings be happy ♡
